Getting Started

Configuration

Configure Pounce's AI tone, response rules, escalation triggers, and daily limits to match your business.

Business Profile

In Account → Profile, add the facts Pounce should use when drafting replies:

  • Business name and contact email
  • Services and service area
  • Website URL
  • Prices and packages
  • Hours and booking link
  • Reply instructions and handoff rules

AI Tone

Use the Tone and Reply instructions fields to control how Pounce sounds. Keep the instructions concrete, such as “friendly and concise,” “ask one question before suggesting a quote,” or “do not mention pricing unless it is listed in the profile.”

Response Rules

  • Handoff rules — Tell Pounce when a person should follow up.
  • Response boundaries — Add anything Pounce should avoid promising or answering.
  • Booking link — Add a scheduling URL when booking is a useful next step.

Email Settings

Configure outbound lead replies:

  • Pounce sender — Fastest setup for early testing
  • Resend (recommended) — Production sending from your own verified domain
  • SMTP — Advanced fallback for providers without API or OAuth sending

See Email Setup for connection steps.

Forms

In Account → Forms, create forms for your contact page, quote requests, landing pages, or campaigns. Each form has its own status, allowed domain, preview link, and embed code.
