License Management

License Keys

Every Pounce instance requires a license key. License keys start with PC- (Pounce) and follow the format PC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Your license key is set during the setup wizard and stored in your business configuration. It’s validated on startup and periodically while running.

All tiers include the same features. The only difference is how many domains you can run and lead volume.

Viewing Usage

Go to Settings → License to see:

• Current tier and expiration date
• Domains used / max domains
• Leads this month / monthly limit
• AI auto-reply status (active or paused)

Upgrading

1. Go to Settings → License
2. Click Upgrade
3. Select your new tier (Starter or Pro)
4. Complete payment via Stripe
5. Your license key is updated automatically — no restart required

Downgrading

1. Go to Settings → License
2. Click Change Plan
3. Select a lower tier
4. If you have more domains than the new tier allows, you’ll need to deactivate extras first
5. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period

Free Tier Soft Wall

On the Free tier, when you hit 100 leads/month:

• AI auto-reply pauses — no more automatic responses
• New leads still arrive in your dashboard
• Leads are still emailed to you directly
• No data is lost — everything is stored

Upgrade to Starter to resume AI auto-reply and get unlimited leads.

Annual Billing

Save ~17% with annual billing:

• Starter: $10/mo → $100/yr (save $20)
• Pro: $40/mo → $175/yr (save $305)

Switch between monthly and annual in Settings → License → Change Plan.
